• What is a multimeter used for?
  A multimeter is used to measure voltage, current, resistance, and for testing continuity, diodes, and sometimes capacitance or frequency.
• How many types of multimeters are there?
  There are two main types — Analog Multimeter and Digital Multimeter (DMM).
• What is the difference between DC and AC voltage measurement?
  The symbol V⎓ means DC Voltage, and V~ means AC Voltage.
• What does “OL” mean on the display?
  “OL” means Over Limit — the resistance or voltage is beyond the selected range, or the circuit is open.
