POWER METER

• What does a power meter measure?
  It measures real power (W), apparent power (VA), reactive power (VAR), power factor, voltage, and current.
• What’s the difference between power and energy meter?
  Power meter shows instantaneous power; energy meter shows total consumption over time (kWh).
• What is Power Factor (PF)?
  PF = Real Power / Apparent Power. A low PF means inefficient power usage.
• What’s a good power factor value?
  Ideally 0.95 to 1.0 for efficient operation.
• Can a power meter measure both single-phase and three-phase systems?
  Yes, depending on the model.
